Austin
Austin is a fast growing city where there is very health real estate market. There are many areas to have your agent show you. Here are a few to consider:
- Round Rock: The town that Dell built. Well, not actually, but with Dell headquartered out in Round Rock, many young professional families have taken root here to avoid long commute times. As such, commerce has followed with conveniences sprouting up at every corner.
- Hyde Park: A great area just north of the University of Texas campus. This area is not cheap, but there are affordable options if one is willing to sacrifice lot and house size to be in the area. There are a number of small old houses mixed in with larger homes, so there is quite a range of available options. There are also some neighborhood restaurants that give the area a local flare.
- Westlake: Where the money of Austin lives. Settle up in the hills west of town, this area is know for great views, beautiful terrain, a great school system, and awesome golf. Sound great? Be prepared to pay for it, as it’s some of the most expensive Austin Real Estate around.
Other areas: Circle C, Enfield, South Congress, Downtown (mainly commercial but some residential).
