Like the city itself, the Houston real estate market is growing at a rapid pace. Agencies and brokers are all over the city, and each will provide you with a different story. The truth is that there are many areas where investments make sense, so we are trying to create an unbiased list for your reference. Here are a some areas to consider:
- The Woodlands: The Woodlands is a great area heading north on I-45. With great golf courses, a top notch school district, and ever-growing amount of conveniences, The Woodlands is a great place to raise kids. That said, it is not cheap. The Woodlands is one of the more expensive Houston suburbs, so you'll need a good real estate agent and patience to find the right thing.
- Katy: Once a desolate suburb, Katy has grown to have . With a young population, a great school district, and the Katy Mills mall, Katy has firmly established itself as a good land investment.
- River Oaks: The ritziest part of town. Located in central Houston, a buyer will pay top dollar for land in this area. Oh, if I had a million dollars...
- Sugarland: Out in the southwest suburbs of Houston, money can go a longer way Sugarland. While development in the area surely falls under the stock community builds, no one can argue with the value for your dollar. That's why many Houstonians are gradually moving out that way.
